Chevron sued by deceased man’s family

The family of the deceased, his wife and son, blame Chevron for the misfortune. The man died from a combination of pulmonary asbestosis and lung cancer, two diseases caused by asbestos. The suit was filed June 12th by the family of Rufus Granger, former employee of Gulf Oil, which is known today as Chevron.

An asbestos “clean-up” emergency has been declared in Montana town

Due to a high number of mesothelioma deaths in the area (more than 200), a small town in Montana has been granted an additional 6 million dollars. That amount should cover medical and clean-up bills. The money was granted by the Obama under a public safety issue on Wednesday.

A man with mesothelioma bets on his life and wins

A man from Britain diagnosed with cancer bet against the prediction of his mesothelioma doctor, saying that he would be dead in a matter of months. The man will apparently win the sum of 10000 pounds, media reported on Sunday.
