The family of the deceased, his wife and son, blame Chevron for the misfortune. The man died from a combination of pulmonary asbestosis and lung cancer, two diseases caused by asbestos. The suit was filed June 12th by the family of Rufus Granger, former employee of Gulf Oil, which is known today as Chevron.
