Mesothelioma is a rare type of cancer, usually caused by prolonged exposure to asbestos. Asbestosis, a similar disease to mesothelioma cancer, is also caused by asbestos. After using heated chemotherapy with no effects, researchers have established that if they can stop this protein to be released, they can increase the effectiveness of the mesothelioma treatment.
